I once wrote a Tribute to Laurent Flechoux, as he’s a great friend and source of inspiration. BUT, lucky for me he’s not the only human inspiration canon in my life.

This time the tribute therefore goes out to my dear friend and wonderful colleague Lukas Renlund – who’s actually nominated for the prestigious title as fashion photographer of the year – so PLEASE check out his work and vote for him by liking and Google plus’ing his work here: Vote For Lukas Renlund As Fashion Photographer Of The Year

The reason why I feel the need to send out a tribute to Lukas, is that his mind is for sure one of the most crazy I have ever come across. He continues to surprise me. Even as I think I know him oh so well he comes up with something new and amazing, or crazy and stupid.

Last week he showed me a fantastic little café in Copenhagen. I would have never found it on my own, we sat there, talking, working & drinking coffee for more than 8 hours – Great way of spending my day off – THANKS Lukas.

Last year he made me ditch a party and took me and 2 friends (Laurent and Julie Flechoux) to Christiania to listen to smooth jazz – one of the best nights I’ve had in CPH – again, THANKS Lukas (and thanks Laurent & Julie for visiting all the way from Paris).

Lukas continues to push me out of my little box of ordinary and mainstream Caroline – which is scary as hell, but PLEASE keep doing that Lukas, I have become absolutely addicted to it!

I have had the pleasure of working directly with Lukas a few times for example when we made What is Inspiration together – if you are a regular on this site, I’m sure you have seen it before – if not check it ouuuuut.

Thank you Lukas, for making it extra fun to go to work, for being my friend, for pushing me over the edge and for being inspirational.
